Dessert is what completes every holiday treat. Dessert should surprise not only with its taste, but also with a beautiful view.

And every hostess should remember this. It is not for nothing that in Ukraine there is an excellent saying on this topic in such cases: “The hostess knew how to cook, but she did not know how to serve.” That is, serving a dish is just as important as the taste of the dish itself.

Chocolate is often used to decorate desserts. I offer a great tip on how to decorate desserts with chocolate patterns in a very simple way.

Put these patterns of chocolate on top of the cream, whipped cream on cakes, cupcakes or pastries and you will see how your dessert will change.

How to make chocolate patterns for decorating desserts step by step instructions with photos

Step 1

For work, we need chocolate, water, a saucepan, a small dense food bag with a zipper, parchment paper.

Step 2

Break the chocolate into pieces. Put in a food bag and close the zip tightly.

Step 3

Heat the water in a saucepan to 60°C and put the bag of chocolate into the hot water.

Step 4

After 8-10 seconds, take out the bag and knead the chocolate with your hands. If not all the chocolate has melted, lower the bag into the water for another 3-4 seconds and knead the chocolate again. As a result, all the chocolate should melt.

Step 5

Cut off the end of the bag by making a small hole.

Step 6

While squeezing the chocolate through the hole, draw patterns on the parchment paper. Place in refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Step 7

Chocolate patterns after cooling are easily separated from the paper. The decoration is ready.
