Plums are often pickled for the winter. It turns out that they can be marinated using the express method. In this case, after 24 hours, you can enjoy pickled plums and even serve them on the festive table.
Remember that for pickling, you should choose slightly unripe plums with sourness. If the plums are ripe, then after pickling they may become too loose, spread.
Recipes with plum ingredient
Step 1
For work, we need plums - 1 kg, sugar - 200 grams, water - 200 ml, vinegar - 100 ml, salt - 0.5 tsp, black peppercorns - 3 pcs., allspice peas - 3 pcs., bay leaf - 2 pcs., pan, knife.
Step 2
Rinse plums. Cut in half, removing the pit.
Step 3
In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, peppers, bay leaf. Boil. Add vinegar.
Step 4
Pour the prepared plum halves into the pan and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely.
Step 5
Transfer the plums with the marinade to a jar, cover with a lid and refrigerate for 24 hours. Pickled plums are ready.
