  • Bay leaf
  • Allspice
  • Black peppercorns
  • Sugar
  • Plum
  • Salt
  • Table vinegar 9%

How to pickle plums step by step instructions with photos

Step 1

 

For work, we need plums - 1 kg, sugar - 200 grams, water - 200 ml, vinegar - 100 ml, salt - 0.5 tsp, black peppercorns - 3 pcs., allspice peas - 3 pcs., bay leaf - 2 pcs., pan, knife.

Step 2

 

Rinse plums. Cut in half, removing the pit.

In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, peppers, bay leaf. Boil. Add vinegar.

Step 4

 

Pour the prepared plum halves into the pan and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely.

Step 5

 

Transfer the plums with the marinade to a jar, cover with a lid and refrigerate for 24 hours. Pickled plums are ready.
