For work, we need potatoes (500 grams), water (1 liter), a knife, a saucepan.

Rinse the potatoes well and with a sharp knife make a shallow incision in each potato in a circle. You should only cut through the skin of the potato.

Place potatoes in water.

Bring to a boil over high heat and cook, reducing heat to low, covered until tender. This will take approximately 20 minutes (depending on the variety and size of the potato).

Step 5

 

When the potatoes are ready, drain the water and pour it with ice water for 20-30 seconds.

Step 6

 

Immediately start peeling potatoes: with a light movement, pull the potato peel from the cut line, clasping the potato near the line with all fingers. The skin peels off very easily.

Step 7

 

Similarly, pull off the peel on the other side of the potato.

Step 8

 

The potatoes are ready to go.
