Natural and fresh fruit and vegetable drinks can have even greater benefits for the body if combined with certain supplements. We are yet to find out who they are and how they affect the action and qualities of the juices.

  • Vegetable fats

Vegetable fats will help increase the rate of absorption of vitamins and minerals contained in the juices. Sunflower oil and olive oil can be added directly to the beverage cup or 1 tablespoon of fat can be taken before or after consuming the fruit / vegetable liquid.

  • Cream

Seed oils can be replaced with high-fat liquid or sour cream.

  • Honey

The taste of sour juices is improved by adding honey.

  • Seeds, sprouts, tinctures

Flaxseeds, wheat germ, lecithin, herbal tinctures (echinacea or chamomile) can be added to the juices to strengthen the immunity. Of course, the latter should be used after consulting a doctor.

It is not recommended to combine juices with spices and alcohol, because this will reduce the healing properties of the drinks.

Compatibility of different juices

An important factor in making natural drinks from fruits and vegetables are the products that are used and more precisely their combination. Not everyone is good to combine with each other, because it will reduce the health benefits of juice. To avoid mistakes and to get the most out of drinks, it is necessary to follow a few simple recommendations:

  • fruit juices with seeds (such as apples and pears) can be combined with juices from any other fruit and vegetable;
  • stone fruit juices (peaches, plums) are consumed alone;
  • fresh juices are diluted with those of citrus, apple or sour fruits;
  • beet juice should be no more than 1/3 cup, as it is highly concentrated (otherwise it can harm the body);
  • Horseradish, onion, radish, garlic and turnip juices can be added to other juices, but in small amounts.

In the last material of the series about juice therapy we will present the harm of juices, we will talk about their use and contraindications.
