Useful properties

Honey is extremely useful, mainly used for colds, as it is characterized by increased sweating effect. It is indispensable in the treatment of angina, runny nose, laryngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis, bronchial asthma. Gives a very good local effect on purulent wounds and burns.

Linden honey contains 36 - 37% glucose and 39 - 40% fructose, volatile and non-volatile antimicrobial substances. It also has expectorant and mild laxative effects.
