For Valentine's Day, we offer to prepare a sweet and sincere gift for your half, which will only cost your time and a couple of products. Stop storming stores looking for more socks and decorative hearts! Bake a cake, put on your favorite dress (or shirt), give a hot kiss!
We offer you a selection of chic desserts that can win the heart of everyone - a layered chocolate cake, an unusual cake with green "moss" and berries, delicate soufflés, cakes in the form of juicy apricots and, of course, a sweet "heart".
Most likely, you have a favorite meadow or a park bench, or maybe you kissed in the forest while walking your dog. The Green Moss cake looks amazing, and it will also remind you of romantic or funny moments associated with your outdoor trip together.
So, let's start cooking. Rinse 250 g of spinach, put in a blender bowl, add 120 ml of vegetable oil and puree. Beat three eggs, a pack of vanilla sugar and 120 g of sugar until stiff peaks. Combine both masses, mix. Add to them a sifted mixture of 280 g flour, 20 g starch and 10 g baking powder. Stir and pour into a round mold lined with parchment (diameter 24 cm). Bake in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for 50 minutes. Readiness check with a match or a toothpick. Then cool, cut off the brown sides in the shape of a ring or a round shape in which we will form a cake, also cut off a third of the biscuit from above. Leave this cut top for decoration.
For cream, beat 500 g of chilled cream with 100 g of sugar, then add 200 g of curd cheese (mascarpone is best).
Put the cake in a ring or a form with which a circle was cut out, soak in a mixture of four tablespoons of hot water, two tablespoons of lemon juice and two tablespoons of sugar. Spread the cream on top and crumble the green part of the biscuit (without the brown crust) from the top. Put in the refrigerator for three hours. Garnish with fresh raspberries, lingonberries or pomegranates before serving.
Make chocolates at home. It's not as difficult as it seems! We promise you unearthly pleasure! Send such a candy into the mouth of your beloved (beloved); first, she (he) will feel the bitterness of melting dark chocolate, then - the most delicate milk soufflé, and at the end - the enchanting sweet and sour taste of red raspberries.
To prepare sweets, you will need a special silicone mold or an ice mold, it is worth noting that it is much easier to remove sweets from the former. Mix 220 g cream cheese (mascarpone) with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup whipped cream. Melt 280 g of dark chocolate in a water bath - we use part of the chocolate first, some later, so keep the chocolate in a water bath until the process is completed. With a spoon, fill the molds with chocolate by a third, twist the mold in all directions so that the chocolate is distributed over the mold, forming a kind of "cups" for the filling. Cool the mold with chocolate in the refrigerator (5 minutes). Then put a little cream in a chocolate "shell" and put a raspberry (or any other berry) inside. Fill the form with raspberry cream completely so that the filling gets inside the berries, as well as outside. Pour chocolate on top, "closing" our "cups", and refrigerate for several hours.
Undoubtedly, love has more shades! But this cake is able to win you over with just three. You will have to try to cook it, but the result will exceed all expectations. We need a high detachable form and a day of time. We will bake the base layer, and we will form the chocolate layers using gelatin and a refrigerator. Recipe >>>
A plate of fruits and berries for a romantic dinner would most likely consist of strawberries, cherries, peaches or apricots. In the cold season, when fresh fruits are as exotic as bright minis on beauties, we suggest baking apricot cakes. Baking will turn out to be as textured, velvety and sweet as real fruits.
The cake recipe is extremely simple. Mix one egg and 75 g of sugar with a whisk in a large bowl. Add 60 ml of warm milk and 60 g of soft butter. Rub with a spoon and add a mixture of 250 g flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. Divide the resulting not very steep dough into 40 balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, pressing lightly to form hemispheres. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Lubricate the cooled hemispheres with caramel (boiled condensed milk) and fasten two by two to make an apricot. Lightly dip the finished cakes in carrot juice (or orange food coloring) and immediately roll in sugar. It is recommended to wrap the "apricots" with cling film and leave to rest for a couple of hours. Before serving, insert a mint leaf between the halves.
Valentine's Day is marked by the heart. You can replace the traditional Valentine with cookies or a pie (or scrambled eggs with sausage!) in the shape of a heart. You can cut out cookies with a cookie cutter, or you can do it with a knife. We offer you a basic shortcrust pastry recipe, as well as a simple biscuit recipe from which you can create the cake of your dreams.
From shortcrust pastry, crumbly cookies are obtained, which melt when in contact with hot. We hope that your other half acts on you in the same way as tea on cookies. So, combine in a blender bowl three cups of sifted flour, a glass of sugar, 10 g of vanilla and a pinch of salt. Stir and add chilled and diced butter - 300 g, mix. Crack two eggs into the batter and mix well again. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate. After an hour, you can cut out whatever you want and bake in the oven (15 minutes at 180 degrees).
For a classic biscuit, take 4 eggs, a glass of sugar, a glass of flour and half a teaspoon of baking powder. Separate the whites from the yolks in separate tall bowls, add half a glass of sugar to each and beat with a mixer until peaks. Then combine both masses and mix with a spatula. Gradually add flour with baking powder, mix flour portions with a spoon. The dough should look like 20% fat sour cream. Pour the dough into a parchment-covered form (heart!) And send for 25-30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Check readiness with a wooden toothpick - it will come out dry from the finished biscuit. Cool the biscuit, cut lengthwise and brush with whipped cream, cream cheese and sugar, or soak with liquor.
Love, be loved, cook with passion and pleasure!
