Decoction of nettle

Necessary products:
  • 1 handful of fresh nettle leaves or 1 teaspoon dry
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 250 milliliters of water
Method of preparation:

Put the water on the stove when it boils, add the leaves and let them boil for 3-5 minutes, then remove from the heat.

When the decoction has cooled, pour the lemon juice.

Drink warm.

 

Nettle tincture

Necessary products:
  • 250 milliliters of water
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons chopped nettle
  • 1 teaspoon honey
Method of preparation:

Put the leaves in a thermos, pour boiling water and close the container. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, then strain and allow the liquid to cool slightly.

Wash the leaves, cut them into small pieces.

Cut onions into cubes and fry in olive oil, add a pinch of salt.

Zucchini also cut into cubes.

Pour water into a suitable container and bring to the boil. When this happens, pour in the fried onions, zucchini and let everything cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Then add salt, add chopped parsley or dill and after 2-3 minutes remove the pan from the heat.

Nettle salad

Necessary products:

  • 50 grams of boiled mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Method of preparation:

Simmer the nettle in boiling water and chop finely.

Cut the mushrooms and eggs as well, mash the garlic.

Mix all products in a suitable container, add salt and season with olive oil.

 

In addition to its beneficial properties, nettle has its contraindications, which should be known.

Nettle is not suitable:

  • for consumption in the presence of hypertension;
  • not to be taken by people whose blood clots quickly;
  • if you are allergic to the plant;
  • if you suffer from swelling due to kidney or heart failure.

 

As for weight loss, we must specify that the nettle, in itself, can not boast of high efficiency in the fight against weight, so the road to a slim figure will be long. The plant is only a helper to achieve the desired results, but not the main engine of weight loss.
