Hydradenitis is an inflammatory process of purulent nature, occurring in the apocrine sweat glands.
It is caused by streptococci, staphylococci, Escherichia coli. These bacteria enter the said glands through their secretory ducts or lymphatic pathways. The infection enters the body through various skin lesions, such as after epilation, scratching and others.
The disease can also be inherited. In such cases, the family may have acne abscesses.
The risk group includes people who have increased sweating, weakened immunity, damaged skin areas where it is possible to develop inflammation, with poor hygiene habits. Also at risk are those suffering from diabetes, hormonal imbalance and problems of the endocrine system, obesity, itchy skin, chronic diseases (especially bacteriological).
For faster recovery it is necessary to strengthen the patient's immunity, eliminate inflammatory processes and eliminate the symptoms of intoxication. In case of obesity, the accumulated extra pounds should be lost. To get vitamins A, B (B1, 2, 6), C, E, as well as to saturate the body with phosphorus and iron.
To achieve good results of treatment the patient should consume dairy products, eggs, liver, goose meat, chicken, tomatoes, beets, carrots, peas, blackcurrants, raspberries, viburnum, strawberries, blackberries, sea buckthorn, pomegranate, nuts ( walnuts , peanuts, almonds, pistachios, pine nuts), apples, dogwood, butter, vegetable fats (olive oil, linseed oil, sunflower and sesame oil), cheese, corn, cabbage, grapes, seafood, oatmeal, porridge and buckwheat, millet, pasta, lentils , mushrooms, sweet peppers.
