Obesity And Libido Problems Worry 64% Of British

In this article, learn more about Obesity And Libido Problems Worry 64% Of British. Obesity is more important for the decline in gender than age ....

64% of Bulgarian men are overweight and obese. This was stated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Donka Baykova, Deputy Chairman of the Society of Nutrition and Dietetics, at a press conference held today.

Prof. Filip Kumanov, a specialist in endocrinology and andrology, clarifies that obesity is more important for the decline in gender than age.

Obesity can affect a man's reproductive capabilities, even if he is in good health. Researchers attach importance to hormonal imbalances, which also affect fertility. Lower levels of testosterone, as well as luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, have been found in overweight men. They are all responsible for proper sexual development.

This hormonal condition is indicative of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. In him, the function of the testicles is suppressed due to a problem in signaling the higher regulatory gland - the pituitary gland. The average body mass index among men with impotence is about 32. They have both decreased gonadotropic hormones and increased estrogen - in connection with the metabolism of male sex hormones in adipose tissue.

Previous observations have shown a link between obesity and decreased libido, erectile dysfunction. They can further affect the suppressed reproductive capacity.

Experts have explained that obesity reduces testosterone levels and increases estrogen, the female sex hormone.

According to Prof. Kumanov, the appearance of symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, lack of energy, fatigue, depression, loss of muscle mass and hair, precede from three months to three years diseases such as heart attack, stroke, atherosclerosis, diabetes.
