Most diets strictly prohibit the consumption of pasta, potatoes and meat, advising us to replace them with cereals, seafood and vegetables. But we all know that it is not so easy to give up the usual foods that are present on our table every day, to which we are so accustomed and which are the basis of our diet.
It should be noted that not all diets identify these products as harmful. Baked potatoes with the peel, pasta from durum wheat and lean meat are a great way to satisfy our hunger, to give the body protein and carbohydrates. It turns out that it is not necessary to exclude them from our menu. It is enough to learn to prepare and consume them properly and they will not be the enemy of our figure, but a source of valuable energy.
As for the pasta , everything is very simple - we can cook them in the usual way, as long as we do not add too much salt, spices and fat. Salt retains water in the body, spices stimulate the appetite, and fat only gives excess calories to the dish.
Potatoes - they are the most useful baked, so they retain a maximum of vitamins and nutrients. It is useful to bake with the peel. And fried potatoes in no way can be called useful and dietary. For loyal fans of the latter, we offer either to replace your favorite dish with its baked or cooked version, or to completely exclude the product from your menu. Otherwise, one cannot speak of a slender figure.
It remains to say a few words about the meat . It is best to steam it, and if you do not have the necessary conditions for this, just boil it. For dietary nutrition to choose lean meat. We should not overdo it with salt and spices, instead use green ones and lemon juice.
If we eat only potatoes or only pasta all day, we can hardly expect to lose weight.
For people who are not subjected to daily strenuous exercise and lead a sedentary lifestyle, the optimal portion of food should not exceed 200 grams (ready-made). For those who regularly go to the gym or their work involves a lot of energy, the amount can be increased to 300 grams.
Half of the secret to successful weight loss lies in properly prepared food. There is another little secret and it consists in combining the products.
What can we combine meat, potatoes and pasta with?We must first say that the above products are incompatible with each other. It would hardly occur to anyone to combine pasta and potatoes, but the latter are often used as a side dish to meat. This practice has been around for years and has become a habit. But meat taken with potatoes (even properly cooked) or pasta garnishes is not recommended. They interfere with each other's absorption, as a result the body does not receive enough protein or carbohydrates. They are successfully "stored", forming adipose tissue.
An excellent addition to these products are fresh vegetables. Pasta lovers should give up ketchup and high-calorie sauces and add seafood and cheese.
Potatoes are combined with fresh green spices and you can serve some fish with them.
The best garnish for meat is vegetables. It goes well with cereals.
Small changes in eating habits are a better option than prolonged raw and exhausting diets. The body quickly adapts to the new way of eating and will definitely help us take care of our own figure and self-esteem.
