Regular Digestion Is Achieved Properly With Probiotics

In this article, learn more about Regular Digestion Is Achieved Properly With Probiotics. Regular digestion is essential for good self-esteem..

Regular digestion is essential for good self-esteem. No one feels well when they have digestive problems (disorder or constipation), or if they experience colic , pressure or pain in the intestines. The intestinal microflora plays a very important role in good digestion.

The intestinal microflora is part of our body, and except in children up to two years of age, it is very stable. Healthy intestinal microflora consists primarily of good bacteria. Unfortunately, it often happens that the balance between good and bad bacteria is disturbed. This is called dysbiosis .

Unbalanced intestinal microflora can also be a consequence of underdevelopment of the digestive system (in infants and young children), infection with viruses and bacteria, on the road, stress, taking various medications (mainly antibiotics), due to improper nutrition or as a result of aging.

The disturbed balance of the intestinal microflora is expressed in poor general self-esteem, delayed metabolism, colic, tension, bloating, disorder, constipation. By adding probiotics to our diet we can balance the intestinal microflora. Did you know that the name probiotic comes from the Latin-Greek combination "pro bio", which means "for life"?

Probiotics are living organisms that, if taken in sufficient quantities, have a beneficial effect on our body. Because they are living organisms, they are extremely sensitive to the environment of the digestive system, to moisture and light. They must therefore be adequately protected. With the help of microencapsulation, we give probiotics a five times greater chance of surviving than probiotics that are not microencapsulated.

Disorder

The most common cause of the disorder are viruses, especially rotavirus and to a lesser extent bacteria. Rotaviruses are spread by droplets, so there is a very high chance of infecting other family members.

It is recommended:

  • Immediate recovery of lost fluids and electrolytes (children should drink plenty of fluids, preferably in small amounts of rehydration solution or moderately sweetened tea);
  • After rehydration, it is recommended to add tested probiotic cultures as soon as possible (the best tested probiotic cultures are Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and S. boulardii );
  • During the disorder, the diet does not change (if the child has the disorder, no diet is needed).
  • The general recommendation is to take the child to a doctor if the disorder does not improve in 2-3 days or if we notice the first signs of dehydration (dizziness, lightheadedness, dark urine, lethargy). Keep in mind the age of the child: the younger the child, the faster you need to go to the doctor.
