Nutrition in rosacea is especially important, the diet should be balanced and the diet should be 4-5 times a day.
Rosacea (or pink acne) is a skin disease, a type of acne, which manifests itself in the appearance of redness and pimples on the chin, cheeks, nose, forehead, and sometimes on the eyes and eyelids. They can appear and disappear, as well as change their location. Rosacea most often affects adults.
Nutrition is especially important in the presence of this health problem, as it is a consequence not only of the influence of external factors, but also of the influence of internal ones. The menu should be composed of products that ensure proper and balanced nutrition. Take small portions 4-5 times a day. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the individual tolerance of the body to the products, because each of them can worsen the condition of the skin in different people. Doctors believe that rosacea can be kept under control if the sufferer eats properly and follows a diet.

Harmful products for rosacea
- Products high in caffeine (coffee, tea, cola) - caffeine contributes to the production of the hormone cortisol, which provokes stress. In turn, it is one of the causes of pimples on the skin. Caffeine is also harmful due to blood flow to the face and redness of the skin as a result of its use.

- The same goes for fatty foods.
- Alcoholic beverages should not be drunk. Alcohol alone has not been shown to cause rosacea, but its use can worsen the course of the disease, as blood vessels dilate and lead to further reddening of the face.
- It is important to limit the consumption of spicy, canned, marinated, smoked and salty foods, fried and hot dishes as well, because they help the appearance of pimples, dilate blood vessels, cause redness, weaken the immune system.
- Consumption of red meat is not recommended because it worsens the condition of the skin.
- Limit the intake of citrus and sweet fruits (unsweetened apples are allowed), grapes - lead to inflammation of the skin.
