Meringue is an airy dessert that melts in your mouth. In the form of elegant Christmas trees, packed in a wrapper, you can present such a dessert as a gift. A separate surprise will be that the meringue is made by hand!
Ingredients:
Chicken eggs - 2 pcs. Sugar - 120 gr. Citric acid - 1 pinch Green food coloring - 2 gr. Confectionery topping - for decoration
Wash eggs with baking soda and soap. Divide into whites and yolks. We only need proteins.
Add sugar and citric acid to the proteins, beat a little. Pour water into a saucepan, put on the stove and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and place a bowl of egg whites on top. The bowl must not touch the water. Beat the mass on a steam bath for about 10 minutes, until the proteins thicken and increase in volume. Then remove the bowl from the water bath and continue beating for another 3-4 minutes. Add green food coloring and mix again until the coloring is evenly distributed.
Insert the nozzle into the piping bag and fill with the mass. Place meringues in the form of Christmas trees on a baking sheet with parchment and bake for 1-1.5 hours at a temperature of 110 degrees.
In the finished meringues, until they have cooled, insert the sticks and decorate with sprinkles. The cooled meringue should easily peel off the parchment. Pack beautifully and gift to your loved ones!
