Trend Food. What Should You Try Right Now?

It's no secret that with the help of the original serving, you can surprise guests with old and rather simple dishes.

It's no secret that with the help of the original serving, you can surprise guests with old and rather simple dishes. This is the fashionable food of a modern person - simple, cheap, fast, satisfying, tasty and original. And all in one bottle.

Food trends don't just happen all of a sudden - they need a base from a traditional dish. We present you trendy food that you can cook at home in no time. Ten hit trends seemed not enough for us, so we described eleven for you.

Trend 1. Froze

Fruity wine is not the perfect summer drink. But dilute it with juice or water, freeze it, and then serve it on a hot summer day - and voila! - we get a worthy replacement for lemonade. For a richer taste, add berry syrup, chocolate or topping.

Traditionally, froze is made with rich, dark rosé wine, strawberry syrup, and lemon juice. Sweet lovers can add sugar or powdered sugar. It will take about 30 minutes to freeze - you need to make sure that the consistency of the drink is similar to a milkshake.

Trend 2. Burger with ice cream

Want a hearty snack and dessert in one dish? An ice cream burger is perfect for you - all you need is a fresh bun, delicious ice cream and a handful of confetti. This is a cold dessert that is best served in summer. And on a saucer. For decoration, you will have to turn on fantasy: chocolate icing, marshmallows, Oreo cookies, roasted almonds and coconut flakes - there are plenty to choose from.

Trend 3. New milkshakes

It would seem, what else can you invent with a traditional milkshake? It's simple - serve a drink familiar to everyone in a liter mug with a huge portion of whipped cream, chocolate syrup and caramel on top - you will get both a drink and a dessert at the same time. Looks impressive, ready in two counts. Whipped cream can be bought ready-made, or you can make a homemade version - the choice is yours.

Trend 4. Serving in light bulbs and horns

In pursuit of originality, all methods are good - the most banal dish will delight if served, for example, in a container in the form of a light bulb. As a rule, drinks are served in this way - a cocktail tube is attached to them. Or you can use ice cream cones to serve sugary drinks like espresso. You can also use ice cream glasses, glass salad boxes and even ice molds for drinks - experiment!

Trend 5. Smoothies

A must-have for every business (and not so) person is a tasty vitamin drink that will perfectly replace a snack. Sweet, slightly sour and even peppery; fruits, vegetables and herbs - there are enough flavors and options for everyone. A blender will do just fine with smoothies, but at worst, you can use a mortar, masher and whisk. And it's ready in 5 minutes. Suitable as a diet drink - sugar is completely optional, in extreme cases it can be replaced with maple syrup. If you want a more satisfying option, take a mixture of fruit and oatmeal.

Trend 6. Purple products

Yes, yes, you need to enjoy not only the taste, but also the look of the dish. And the easiest way to attract attention is to decorate it appetizingly. To do this, scientists have bred varieties of sweet potatoes, corn, cabbage and purple peppers. The taste remains the same, but the look is completely renewed. You can also find purple carrots, onions and beans - be sure to look!

Trend 7. Organic dyes

The most striking - in every sense of the word - example of organic dyes are multi-colored spaghetti and pasta. Beets, carrots, spinach give a boost and color dishes in red, green and purple. Turmeric, chickpeas, and kale will also work. Restaurants also use octopus ink to give the dish a black color, but nowadays this exotic can be replaced with blueberry. And if you add some berries, you can draw a rainbow.

Trend 8. Unusual sweets

Number one on the list of sweets unfamiliar to us are desserts from Japan. Fried bananas with caramel and ice cream, lentil cookies, rice flour pastries with soy sauce and mint fruit jelly - we advise everyone to try. At home, you can make tangerines in syrup, chili cream caramel, and even Japanese cabbage pancakes.

Trend 9. Lazy Meals

Quick and satisfying frittata with vegetables and herbs, meat pizza, lazy lasagna with bechamel sauce and pita bread snacks in 5 minutes - recipes that every modern person has heard of. It will take no more than 30 minutes to prepare a meal for the whole family. Appetizing, satisfying and healthy - and all this at home. Cakes without baking can be called a mandatory attribute of such "lazyness" - I prepared the ingredients in 15 minutes and after 3 hours you can already serve.

Trend 10. Unusual sushi

You won’t surprise anyone with a traditional dish, but you can cook sushi in the form of emoji, animals and flowers (after training, of course). Today you can see donut-shaped sushi - these are rather large portions that are more like sweet desserts, rather than fish and rice and wasabi. Cooking them at home will be difficult, but admiring and tasting them in a restaurant is task number 1.

Trend 11. Cream soup

Yes, you can hardly surprise anyone with such a dish. But for any hostess, this is a real salvation: a few movements of the blender can turn an ordinary soup into a colorful and tasty puree. White beans, onions, broccoli, spices, mushrooms, asparagus, and zucchini are not as dull as you think. Try it!

These ten options are just a small digression into the world of new, fashionable cooking. Only you yourself create trends that take root and become traditional dishes - everything ingenious is created as a result of trial and error.
