Doctors call curcumin an indispensable natural remedy for maintaining human health. Over 7,000 scientific studies have proven that curcumin has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-aging properties, and also contributes to weight loss!

 

One of the main reasons for consuming turmeric is health. Curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory properties, reduces the symptoms of arthritis, joint pain and swelling, improves heart function, fights diabetes, protects the body from toxins, prevents the formation of gallstones, helps with various liver problems, improves the functioning of choleretic organs, helps fight ulcers in the stomach. Experts also note that curcumin extract blocks the growth of cancer cells, and daily use of turmeric reduces the risk of blood clots.

The recipe is simple: add turmeric powder to warm water (scientists advise to consume up to 10 grams per day), mix well and drink, preferably in the morning. Or use turmeric mixed with vegetable oil and ground black pepper. It is important to note that when adding turmeric to meals, the body consumes only a small part of the nutrients. Wanting to get the maximum effect from turmeric, doctors advise using food supplements containing curcumin (scientists have proven that this way the body is 6 times more efficient and absorbs nutrients faster).

 

For colds, flu and joint pains, prepare a drink with a glass of warm milk, a teaspoon of turmeric and honey. And also as an antibacterial agent, you can use turmeric essential oil (with a spicy fresh smell and bitter taste). By the way, this oil is also used in the production of perfume.

An important aspect of the use of turmeric is the regulation of metabolic processes, which directly affects weight loss.

 

To improve digestion and strengthen the protective properties of the body, prepare a drink from kefir with the addition of turmeric:

boiling water 0.5 teaspoon turmeric honey 1 cup kefir

Pour a small amount of boiling water over the turmeric and leave the mixture for a few minutes. Then add honey (preferably liquid), mix well and pour into kefir.

Turmeric is similar in properties to ginger, it is even called yellow ginger. Curcumin prevents the formation of fatty tissues, as it improves metabolism and helps the body absorb protein. The use of curcumin helps burn calories, removes excess water from the body and improves blood circulation.

 

For weight loss, prepare a milkshake with milk or kefir:

1 cup milk 1 tablespoon turmeric honey

Mix warm milk with honey, turmeric and drink this drink every day.

And another recipe for a healthy drink with turmeric: 

500 ml water 4 tbsp. l. black tea 1/4 tbsp. l. cinnamon 4 pieces of ginger (each - with a finger) 2 tbsp. l. turmeric 1 tsp honey 500 ml kefir

Add tea, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric and honey to boiled water. Let the mixture infuse and cool, then pour in kefir and drink this drink for breakfast or dinner once a day. 

Turmeric can be used for more than just cooking and drinking. It is widely used in the beauty industry. This is an effective remedy against acne, aging of the skin of the face, skin diseases. Moreover, turmeric restores and nourishes the hair.

 

Turmeric face mask: 

2-3 tbsp. l. turmeric boiling water 0.5 cups of kefir

Boil turmeric in a small amount of boiling water, then boil in a water bath for 10 minutes. Add kefir to the chilled mixture and apply on the face as a mask. The result will not keep you waiting - after a few times the color of your skin will noticeably improve.

Anti-Acne Mask (Warning: Dries out the skin!):

1 tsp turmeric water

Mix turmeric with a small amount of slightly warm water and mix until a homogeneous slurry. Apply the cream on your face, once it dries, shake off any excess and leave the cream on overnight.

Turmeric hair mask:

juice of 2 oranges (freshly squeezed) pulp of half an apple half a banana 2 tsp. (no slide) turmeric

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Rub the resulting mixture into wet hair, wrap your hair with a towel for 30 minutes, then rinse off the mask with warm water. This mask has a regenerating and nourishing property for the hair.
