Foods good for the lungs:

  • Carrots. They contain beta-carotene, thanks to which they nourish and strengthen lung tissue.
  • Milk and sour-milk products. They contain organic calcium, necessary for the normal functioning of the body.
  • Rosehip and citrus fruits. They are rich in vitamin C, which protects the lungs from pathogenic microorganisms.
  • Broccoli. They are a good source of plant protein used as a building material for lung tissue.
  • Onions, garlic. Like citrus fruits, they contain vitamin C, as well as phytoncides that kill bacteria.
  • Beets. Improves the drainage properties of the bronchi.
  • Olive oil. An indispensable source of polyunsaturated fats, thanks to which lung tissue functions normally.
  • Buckwheat honey, linden, pine. The vitamins and microelements contained in these products tone the bronchioles, improving expectoration.
  • Hawthorn. It contains a large number of organic acids that liquefy mucus in the lungs.
