The minerals that are part of the mango are: calcium, phosphorus, iron.

There are tannins in the peel and leaves of the fruit, and a strong herbal tranquilizer in the leaves.

Overeating with unripe fruit can lead to colic, irritation of the gastric mucosa and respiratory tract;

Consumption of large amounts of ripe mango could cause constipation, stomach obstruction, fever, urticaria.
