Celery juice is a unique drink - it increases tone, increases blood circulation, helps against inflammation, high blood pressure and cholesterol. It is useful for lowering body temperature, also for those who suffer from iodine deficiency. Celery perfectly relieves the body of carbon dioxide.

Celery is a good source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It contains high levels of vitamin K and good amounts of vitamin A, vitamins B2 and B6 and vitamin C. It is also a good source of the following nutrients:

  • folic acid
  • potassium
  • manganese
  • pantothenic acid
  • dietary fiber.

How to make celery juice?

For this you need 1 bunch of celery stalks (celery), water, blender and coriander (optional).

Wash the celery well and cut it into pieces.

If you use a juicer, you lose the fiber in the drink, however, if this is your choice, squeeze the stalks as you do with other fruits and vegetables.

If you use a blender, add about 1/2 cup of water to the stalks to make a smooth mixture. Strain through a cloth to separate the harder particles. Drink the juice as soon as possible after preparation.

As celery has a very specific taste, add to it various vegetables such as lemon juice, ginger, cucumber, kale, mint, they all go very well with celery.

You can cool the juice and enjoy the cold drink in the summer, which will refresh you.

Health benefits

Celery contains impressive amounts of vitamin C and K, as well as folate and potassium, and studies show that it can help fight some cancers and liver disease, reduce inflammation (especially brain-related diseases) and boost cardiovascular health. .

Celery leaves contain flavonoids such as apigenin, which are powerful antioxidants. These phenolic compounds affect lipid metabolism and accumulation.

Thanks to antioxidants and the richness of vitamins and minerals, celery juice fights inflammation. As an anti-inflammatory, celery juice helps reduce acute chronic inflammatory diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bronchitis, asthma, lupus, gout, Crohn's disease, permeable bowel and more.

These properties also act on the liver, eliminating accumulated toxins and free radicals.

Celery juice is one of the best detox drinks. It is refreshing and alkalizing, and this affects the skin and hair.

The modern diet is quite high in acidic foods. This can upset the acid-base balance in your body. This chemical imbalance is often associated with chronic diseases of the kidneys and gallbladder, especially calcification (stones) in these organs. Consumption of celery juice helps regulate pH and lowers uric acid.

To get the best results and get the most out of this drink, it is best to consume it in the morning, before breakfast, but not daily.
