Whole milk contains lactic acid, which reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack and death.
According to a study, the consumption of whole milk improves a person's health and protects him from stroke. It is claimed that whole milk (over 3%) is much healthier than skim milk (0.1%) and semi-skim milk (1-2%).
The study's lead author, Prof. Marsha Otto of the University of Texas, said the research was based on a body of evidence. According to her, whole milk is rich in nutrients such as potassium and calcium. They are important for health throughout life and especially in old age, when osteoporosis develops .
The results of studies also show that dairy products contain lactic acid, which reduces the risk of heart disease, including stroke. Contrary to popular belief, milk fat does not increase the risk of heart disease or mortality in adults.
The study included about 3,000 men and women aged 65 and over. Blood levels of three different fatty acids found in dairy products in 1992 and six more 13 years later were measured.
People with higher levels of fatty acids, due to higher consumption of whole milk products, are 42% less at risk of stroke.
While health experts recommend diets on low-fat or low-fat dairy products, including cheese, cheese, yogurt and milk, researchers say low-fat dairy products such as low-fat chocolate milk and low-fat yogurt contain higher amounts of added sugar, which leads to cardiovascular problems.
Clarissa Lenir, a nutritionist, says that when fats are excreted from dairy products , the food is not complete and vitamins A, D and K are lost. Vitamin A and D are very important fat-soluble vitamins, which means that in order to be absorbed, they need fat.
Low-fat dairy products are low in fat, and when consumed, vitamins, protein and calcium cannot be well absorbed by the body.
In addition to cardiovascular disease, whole milk protects against diabetes , obesity and osteoporosis.
