Why Does Yogurt Improve Digestion?

In addition to yogurt, pineapple, papaya, apples, avocados and fennel seeds also improve digestion.

Sometimes a person can get digestive problems, which can cause various stomach ailments . Therefore, in such cases, foods can be consumed to improve food processing.

Yogurt is a food that has been good for human health for thousands of years. It should be noted that the closer it is to the natural production of the product, the more its beneficial effect is available. Yogurt contains some bacteria that we define as probiotics. They are beneficial for intestinal health , as they participate in the process of food breakdown and the formation of immunity.

What else can we add to our menu for stomach ailments?

Add fruit. For example, pineapple. It contains vitamin C, which is also important for good digestion and especially overcoming inflammatory processes in the body. In addition, however, pineapple includes a specific ingredient - bromelain . This enzyme helps break down foods rich in protein.

Papaya also contains a digestive enzyme - papain , which helps break down protein-rich foods. Papaya is also a rich source of vitamins A, B, C. The fruit can reduce complaints such as bloating or heartburn. It is also useful against constipation.

Fennel seeds are popular for their action to reduce swelling and gas . They relieve painful stomach cramps associated with the consumption of inappropriate or unhealthy foods. Fennel seeds also help stimulate the production of digestive enzymes.

Apples are a fruit that contains soluble and insoluble fiber, helping the rapid passage of waste products through the digestive tract, but also providing food for beneficial bacteria in the gut.

Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fats, which are good for the health of the small intestine. It helps treat colitis , ulcers and inflammatory processes in the intestines. Avocados nourish the probiotic bacteria that live in the digestive tract, which in turn reduces constipation and heaviness in the stomach.
