Due to the presence of the most important amino acids, which are easily absorbed by the body, lentils can be included in the menu as an additional source of protein during fasting, be part of diets and necessarily present in the menu of vegetarians.
The low fat content (less than in peas) makes lentils an excellent dietary product. It contains dietary fiber (both soluble and insoluble). Soluble fiber is useful for maintaining the intestinal microflora, as prevention against various diseases, including cancer), as well as for good digestion, they also create a feeling of satiety, which is very important when you want to lose weight.
Insoluble fiber stimulates intestinal motility, helps remove toxic compounds and toxins from the body, excellent prevention against constipation.
The lens helps maintain immunity, stimulates metabolism and the work of the genitourinary system.
