Therefore, a handful of berries, taken at the beginning of the meal, will not allow the body to absorb harmful cholesterol and fats from the main dishes, and also prevent a sharp increase in blood sugar. 

We offer 10 recipes for salads with berries that will diversify and decorate your table, and, undoubtedly, enrich your body with useful substances.

Below are the versatile dressings for the salads shown, which can be refrigerated in a covered container for up to three days after making.

raspberry sauce

2/3 cup ice cream or fresh raspberries 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 tbsp. spoon of mustard powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp lemon juice 1/2-1 cup olive oil

Blend all ingredients except olive oil in a blender. Then gradually add the oil without interrupting the blender.

Honey mustard sauce

1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp. l. Dijon mustard 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil

Mix all the ingredients with a whisk, add the oil at the end.

All-purpose salad dressing

1/4 cup red wine vinegar minced or very finely chopped shallots 1/2 cup olive oil salt and freshly ground black pepper 

Whisk together the vinegar and onion, add the salt and pepper, then whisk in the olive oil. Try it, add ingredients to your taste.

For dressing salads, we will also use balsamic vinegar or cream and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to salads to your taste. We recommend serving the sauce with salads in a separate gravy boat.

1. Salad with berries, nuts, feta cheese and bacon

Rinse, peel and cut fruits; kiwi - thin circles, orange and mango - cubes. Orange is better to clean from the films. Rinse berries and arugula. Arrange salad ingredients on a large platter and drizzle with dressing. And we prepare the dressing as follows: in 200 ml of natural yogurt, add 1 crushed garlic clove and 1 cucumber chopped with a blender, 10 ml of white wine vinegar, salt and white pepper on the tip of a knife.

5. Fresh salad with raspberries, avocado and feta cheese

 

Ingredients:

6. Healthy salad with strawberries and chicken

 

Ingredients:

small avocado, peeled and sliced ​​chicken breast handful of strawberries, quartered handful of spinach all-purpose dressing salt, pepper oil for frying breast

Cut the breast into pieces, salt, pepper and fry until tender in a frying pan in oil. The meat will turn white and lightly covered with a golden crust. Select on a napkin, then add to a plate with other salad ingredients.

7. Salad with watermelon, tomatoes and feta cheese

 

Ingredients:

4-5 assorted tomatoes, sliced ​​1/4 of a medium watermelon feta cheese - 100-150 g purple onion, halved a handful of arugula balsamic vinegar and olive oil

Peel and cut the watermelon into cubes, mix with other salad ingredients.

8. Salad with apples, mozzarella and cranberries

 

Ingredients:

peeled and thinly sliced ​​apple a handful of spinach 200g mini mozzarella balls a handful of cranberries a handful of caramelized walnuts raspberry sauce

You can simply roast the nuts in a dry frying pan or caramelize them. To do this, put two cups of nuts in a deep non-stick frying pan. We dilute a glass of sugar in a third of a glass of water: 200 g in 66 ml. Add the syrup to the nuts, put on medium heat and stir vigorously for one to three minutes. The nuts will be covered with a white sugar crust and begin to stick to each other. From this moment we begin to work with a spoon more intensively. After 5-7 minutes, white sugar crystals will turn into caramel and the nuts will acquire a characteristic brown hue. Put the contents of the pan in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and mix.

9. Salad with duck breast and strawberries

 

Ingredients:

salad mix a handful of strawberries, halved an orange, peeled and sliced ​​into slices 1-2 cucumbers, sliced ​​into half rings duck breast with skin honey mustard sauce

On the duck breast on both sides, make shallow cross-shaped cuts with a knife, salt and pepper. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and place the breast, fat side down, on the skin. After 7-8 minutes, the fat should be rendered, turn over and fry on the other side for another 6-7 minutes. The breast will turn out to be medium rare, put it on a plate and let it rest for 10 minutes, then cut and serve with salad. If you are a fan of well-baked meat, then after frying, send the breast for another 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. 

10. Salad with feta cheese, berries and quinoa

 

Ingredients:

1 cup quinoa (2 cups water) feta cheese - 100-150 g salad mix a handful of crushed almonds in a mortar (large crumbs) a handful of blueberries a handful of raspberries a handful of spinach 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil for frying quinoa raspberry sauce

Fry quinoa in oil in a tall skillet until golden brown, about two minutes is enough. Add two cups of water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 15-17 minutes. Cool down. Prepare other salad ingredients and toss with quinoa.
