Potatoes

 

Incredibly soft potato patties stuffed with sauerkraut and apples.

Ingredients:

600 g boiled potatoes; 3-4 st. l. flour; egg; 200 g sauerkraut; bulb; Apple; 4 things. prunes; salt, pepper to taste; 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

Mash boiled potatoes, add salt, pepper, beat in an egg, mix and add flour. You will get a soft dough.

For the filling, soak prunes in boiling water for 10-15 minutes, then drain and chop. Grate the apple. Cut the peeled onion into small cubes. Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the onion until soft, then add the sauerkraut and simmer for 10 minutes. Then add grated apple and prunes, heat for minutes.

 

Divide the dough into two parts, each into 6 more balls. Flour the table and make 12 tortillas. Put a spoonful of the filling in the center of each and fasten the edges into pies.

It remains only to fry the pies with filling in oil over medium heat until golden brown.

Ossetian pie "Kartofchin"

 

A wonderful yeast pie with mashed potatoes and cheese can be served both hot and cold. Luxurious pastries for weekdays and holidays.

You will need:

500 g flour; 140 ml of milk; 130 ml of water; 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil; 1 tsp salt; 7 g fresh pressed yeast; 60 g butter; 500 g potatoes; 150 g soft cheese; black pepper to taste.

Sift flour into a tall bowl, add salt and yeast. In a saucepan, heat water with milk, add a spoonful of vegetable oil, cool the mixture and pour into a bowl of flour. Knead the dough. Gather the dough into a ball, grease it with vegetable oil, put it in a bowl and tighten with cling film. Leave for 50 minutes, punch down and leave for another half an hour.

Peel potatoes and put to boil in salted water. Then drain the water, mash the potatoes with a pusher, add grated cheese and pepper, stir. The filling is ready.

 

Divide the finished dough into three parts, stretch each into a large cake. Put the filling on the center, gather the edges into a knot, pinch and then gently roll into a cake.

 

Prick the cake with a fork. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Bake each tortilla for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

 

Grease the finished cakes with melted butter. Enjoy!

Boiled potatoes are cut into boats, stuffed with meat (or mushrooms) and baked under cheese in the oven. Amazing hot!

Ingredients:

8 potatoes; 200 g minced meat (any); bulb; 100 g of hard cheese; 100 g sour cream; salt, pepper to taste; 2-3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

Boil the potatoes in their skins until half cooked or cook in the microwave, after pricking with a fork.

Grate the cheese. Saute the onion in vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat until soft, then add the minced meat. Fry the meat, breaking up lumps, until the color changes. Salt, pepper, add spices for meat. Place minced meat with onions in a bowl, cool slightly, add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and 2/3 of grated cheese, mix.

Make original boats from boiled potatoes by scraping the pulp with a spoon.

 

Fill the "boats" with minced meat, brush with sour cream and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Put the potatoes in a mold, pour in half a glass of water, cover with foil and put in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. Then remove the foil and cook for another 5-8 minutes, until the cheese is browned.

 

Serve stuffed potatoes with vegetables (fresh or pickled), salads, herbs, and your favorite sauce. Bon appetit!

Potato patty with garlic

 

Minimum products and amazing results! Fried potatoes with rosemary and garlic in the form of flatbread will appeal to everyone without exception.

Need:

4 potatoes; 2-3 cloves of garlic; salt, black pepper to taste; a small bunch of fresh herbs or a spoonful of dried (dill, parsley); a few pinches of dried rosemary; vegetable oil for frying (2-3 tablespoons).

Boil the potatoes in their uniforms until tender, peel and mash with a fork. Mix with chopped herbs, salt and pepper.

Pour oil into a frying pan, fry chopped garlic with rosemary in slices over medium heat for several minutes. Then choose the spices, they gave the oil their aroma and taste. In garlic-rosemary oil, fry the potatoes until golden brown, distributing them in a pan with a tortilla.

Crispy potato balls with cheese

Ingredients:

3-4 boiled potatoes; egg; 80 g of hard cheese; 1 st. l. flour; 2 tbsp. l. breadcrumbs; salt to taste; 200 ml refined vegetable oil.

Peel the boiled potatoes and grate them into a bowl. Add grated cheese, flour, salt, beat in the egg and mix.

Heat the oil in a saucepan (it is convenient to use a deep fryer). From the resulting mass, form balls the size of a walnut, bread in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to place the finished balls on paper napkins to drain excess oil. Serve with a variety of sauces and skewers. 

French fries on a fine grater

 

Crumbly crispy potatoes are good for garnishing salads, as an addition to burgers and as a beer snack.

You will need:

8-9 medium potatoes; 500 ml of vegetable oil; salt to taste.

Peel the potatoes, rinse, grate for Korean carrots. Then put in a bowl and cover with cold water for 5 minutes. Rinse again and dry well on paper towels.

Fry the potatoes in a deep fryer or deep pan. Heat the oil in a saucepan to 180 degrees, then pour the dried potatoes in portions. Potatoes are fried very quickly, choose on paper towels as soon as they become golden. Then fry the next batch. Salt the finished potatoes, you can add other spices - red ground pepper, garlic passed through a press.

Draniki with cottage cheese

Ingredients:

500 g potatoes; 200 g of cottage cheese; egg; 1-2 cloves of garlic; salt, herbs; 3 art. l. flour; vegetable oil for frying.

Grate the peeled potatoes on a fine grater into a bowl, squeeze. Add cottage cheese, garlic passed through a press, beat in an egg, add flour, salt and chopped herbs. Stir until smooth.

Heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Spread the dough with a spoon, forming potato pancakes and fry for a minute on each side until golden brown. In the process of frying, if necessary, add oil. Serve with sour cream.

Draniki with pumpkin

Autumn version of the popular potato dish.

You will need:

250 g potatoes; 250 g pumpkin pulp; egg; clove of garlic; salt, pepper, herbs to taste; 4 tbsp. l. flour; vegetable oil for frying.

Grate peeled potatoes and pumpkin into a bowl, squeeze out excess juice. Beat in an egg, add chopped herbs, salt, pepper, flour, mix.

Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.

Baked potatoes with lard

 

Under sauerkraut on a cold day, potatoes baked with lard will go well. Salo use any, favorite.

Ingredients:

1 kg potatoes; 350 g of fat with a layer; a spoonful of vegetable oil.

Peel the potatoes, cut along the center along. Insert a piece of lard into the cuts. Put the potatoes stuffed with bacon in a refractory form, grease with vegetable oil on top, cover the form with foil.

Bake for 40 minutes at a temperature of 200-210 degrees. Then remove the foil and cook for another 15-20 minutes.

cleaning from 5 potatoes; a glass of oil; salt, garlic.

Choose spoiled cleanings, rinse the rest well and dry with paper towels. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Fry the potato peels for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Then choose on a dish lined with paper towels. When the excess oil is gone, transfer the chips to a plate, sprinkle with salt and minced garlic. Nice to crunch!
