It is generally accepted that sweets are harmful to the body, especially if they are abused. But this is not always true. In fact, you can treat yourself to delicious, even if you monitor your health or want to get rid of extra centimeters on barrels. We offer you the top 4 sweets that you can eat, even if you are on a diet, give to kids and not worry about the "bad" consequences.
Marmalade is a delicacy that is 90% pectin extracted from fruits. This sweet can be found in any store in at least 10 variations, but it is still better to make it yourself. Unfortunately, often marmalade, which is sold in supermarkets, has absolutely nothing to do with a real jelly treat.
For example, making homemade raspberry marmalade is easy. It turns out mega-tasty and without thickeners, dyes and other "chemistry". All that is needed for this is raspberries (however, you can take any berries to your taste), sugar and a few tablespoons of water. Boil the berries so that they become soft, cool and grind through a sieve. Add sugar, water to the puree and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Pour into molds, cool and refrigerate to set. When serving, roll in sugar or powdered sugar.
Fruit marmalade is no less tasty than berry marmalade, and citrus lovers will really like lemon and ginger jellies. The taste of marmalade turns out to be very bright, sweet and sour, with a spicy burning note of ginger ... and the smell is just crazy (in the good sense of the word)!
So, in order to prepare such a marmalade, you will need a lemon, a piece of ginger, brown sugar, water, a little vanilla and a tablespoon of a natural thickener - agar-agar. Peel the lemon and ginger from the peel and films, finely chop. Mix sugar with water until it is completely dissolved, add lemon and ginger, boil for a couple of minutes after boiling. Add vanilla, strain through a sieve and mix with agar-agar. Judge, pour into molds and refrigerate. Ready!
Nutritionists are constantly arguing whether chocolate is a dietary product. And we can say with confidence: yes, and once again yes, of course. With one amendment: if you do not abuse it and eat a couple of slices of dark chocolate a day. By following these two rules, you will see that chocolate will not give you extra grams, but will have a positive effect on your body. Bitter chocolate prolongs youth and effectively fights age-related skin changes. And a slice of chocolate improves mood and gives a charge of vivacity for a long time.
In order for chocolate to be fully useful and “correct”, it should not contain sugar (its minimum content is permissible). The ideal option is 95% cocoa and 5% sugar. Today you can even find dark chocolate completely without sugar (with stevia, for example).
Unfortunately, finding high-quality chocolate is not so easy, but there is a way out: you can always make it yourself. To do this, we need cocoa powder, milk powder, sugar, water and butter. We boil the syrup from water and sugar, pour in the dry ingredients and quickly knead everything. Add butter, mix everything well - and the chocolate is ready! Let it cool a little, pour it into molds, and send it to the refrigerator. As a culinary experiment, butter can be famous for kosher or ghee butter.
To make real dark bittersweet chocolate, use butter, cocoa powder and some sugar. Chocolate will turn out with a rich taste and a noble bitter aftertaste. Melt the butter in a water bath, then add the sugar and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then you need to add cocoa, mix everything, pour the chocolate mass into molds - and in the refrigerator. Everything is simply unrealistic. Enjoy!
Perhaps the marshmallow is the undisputed leader in the list of "approved by nutritionists." The good news is that marshmallows do not contain an ounce of fat. The bad news is that store bought contains too much sugar. What to do? Either eat it in limited quantities (however, like everything else, even healthy sweets), or cook it at home. We offer an excellent recipe for homemade marshmallows.
And if you're on a high-protein diet, make Dukan marshmallows. To do this, you will need gelatin, low-fat cottage cheese, skim milk and a sweetener. A detailed recipe for making homemade marshmallows according to Dukan is here.
