The sweetest and most romantic holiday for all lovers is just around the corner. So, it's time to think over the dinner menu. Five simple, easy and delicious ideas are right in front of you.

1. Appetizer of eggs "Crocuses"

This is a delicious appetizer with cottage cheese salad, which will win you over with its appearance and taste.

We will need:

Boiled eggs - 5 pcs.; Beets - 1 pc.; Cottage cheese - 120 g; Sour cream or mayonnaise - 20 g; Salt, herbs, garlic, spices - to taste.

First you need to carefully peel the eggs and put them in a deep bowl or small saucepan. Peel the beets, squeeze the juice (you can grate and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth). Dilute the juice with a little warm water and pour into the bowl with the eggs. Leave for 5-7 minutes to color the protein.

In the meantime, you can work on the filling. Combine cottage cheese and chopped garlic in a blender bowl. Add salt, spices, your favorite herbs there. Dry the eggs, carefully make two cuts and remove the yolks. Put the yolks to the cottage cheese, beat everything until smooth. Add a touch of sour cream or mayonnaise for a smoother consistency, but don't overdo it! The filling should not be liquid.

Using a pastry bag, fill the eggs with the filling. Put them on a serving plate, topped with herbs as stems.

2. Liver pate with pomegranate jelly

This appetizer will become not only a worthy decoration of the table, but also a real taste discovery.

Ingredients:

Chicken liver - 1/2 kg; Bulb - 1 pc.; Butter - 2 tbsp. l.; Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.; Cream - 1 glass; Cognac - 50 ml; Pomegranate - 1 pc.; Gelatin - 1 pack (10-15 g); Salt, sugar, spices - to taste.

Heat vegetable oil and butter in a frying pan. Add chopped onion and fry until translucent. Add the cleaned liver, fry over medium heat until lightly browned. Pour in brandy and leave for 5 minutes to completely evaporate the alcohol. Salt, pepper to taste, add a pinch of sugar and, if desired, other spices. Pour the cream into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the cooked liver from heat and place in a blender bowl. Whisk until smooth. Transfer to a convenient container with high sides and flatten. Clean the pomegranate. Set aside 2-3 tablespoons of grains, and squeeze the juice from the rest. Dissolve the gelatine in the juice (according to package instructions!) and carefully pour over the pâté. Sprinkle grains on top and refrigerate until set.

3. Pizza for lovers

As a main light dish, you can cook themed pizza. This option is good because you can make it with absolutely any filling that you like.

You will need:

Pizza dough - 160 g; Tomato sauce - 50 g; Sausage or chicken - 100 g; Red onion - 1 pc. (optional); Cheese - 100 g; Spinach or basil - 4-6 leaves; Salt and spices - to taste.

First, roll out the dough into a thin layer. Carefully cut out a heart. Lubricate the cake with sauce, lay out the filling, add spices if desired and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 190 degrees for 15 minutes.

4. Meringue with ice cream

These tender and airy hearts will be a wonderful idea for a dessert.

You will need:

Egg - 2 pcs.; Sugar - 1/2 cup; Ice cream - 200 g.

To prepare the meringue, carefully separate the whites from the yolks. Add sugar and start beating. As soon as the whites begin to turn white, gradually increase the speed of the mixer. The result should be a dense mass in which clear peaks are visible.

Using a pastry bag, pipe the egg whites onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in the shape of a heart. Send to the oven, preheated to 100 degrees. Dry the meringue for about 80-90 minutes, slightly opening the oven door. Before serving, put ice cream between two hearts.

5. Dessert "Heart"

Creamy dessert with fruit, crunchy cereal and shortcrust pastry hearts is a worthy option to complete a festive dinner.

Ingredients:

Shortbread dough - 50 g; Cream cheese - 200 g; Corn flakes - 50 g; Cream - 3 tbsp. l.; Powdered sugar - 50 g; Kiwi - 2 pcs.; Fresh berries - 50 g; Mint - 2-3 leaves.

To begin with, cut out hearts from shortbread (you can also use puff pastry) and bake them until golden brown. Combine cream cheese with cream and powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Peel the kiwi and cut into thin slices. Place a few kiwi slices on the bottom of glasses (or any other dessert tins). Cut the rest in half and fill the edges of the mold with them.

Spread half the cream cheese, spread evenly and sprinkle with corn flakes. Put kiwi on top (you can cut into cubes). Repeat the layer of cheese and cereal. Decorate the dessert before serving with berries, mint and ready-made heart cookies.
