A Handful Of Nuts Prolong Life

According to researchers, people who regularly consume nuts have a lower risk of developing serious diseases.

Consumption of nuts - 5 or more times a week, can increase life expectancy. 
 
There is evidence that people who regularly consume nuts tend to live longer and suffer less from cancer , cardiovascular and respiratory diseases , and there are fewer cases of fatal outcome. 
 
In women in particular, eating just two handfuls of nuts can prolong their life as much as running four times a week. It turns out that among women who are at increased risk of developing heart disease, consuming a tablespoon of peanut butter five or more times a week reduces the risk of heart attack by half. The comparison is with women who consume one serving or less per week. 
 
The benefits of peanut butter do not stop there - in adolescent girls who consume one or more servings of peanut butter a week, the risk of developing lumps in the breast is significantly reduced. They may be a marker of an increased risk of developing breast cancer . 
 
One of the worries about eating nuts is gaining extra pounds . To date, there have been about 20 clinical trials focusing on the relationship between nut consumption and weight gain . None of them found such an increase as many expect. 
 
 
During a study, it became clear that those who consumed one or two handfuls of nuts a day gained less than expected weight or did not gain weight, and even lost weight . 
 
The specificity of nuts is that they speed up the metabolism . Thus, when we consume them, we burn more of our own fat . 
 
Researchers have found that for a period of 7 to 8 hours, people who consume a normal diet burn about 20 grams of fat . However, when nuts are included in the diet , the fat burned is about 31 years.
