A dish of Uzbek cuisine may somehow resemble a huge dumpling or manti, however, the molding here is completely different. And we will add pieces of chicken, pumpkin and greens to the filling.

Dough Ingredients:

300 g flour; 150 ml of milk; 100 ml of water; egg; 1 tsp salt; 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

Filling Ingredients:

350 g chicken fillet; 350 g of peeled pumpkin; salt, herbs (dill, parsley) to taste; 3 art. l. vegetable oil.

Cooking dough. In a bowl, beat the egg with salt, add water, vegetable oil and milk. Pour in half the flour, mix with a whisk. Then, while stirring, add the remaining flour, knead the elastic dough.

For the filling, cut the pumpkin and chicken fillet into small cubes, chop the greens. Mix everything and salt, add spices to your taste.

 

Pinch off a walnut-sized piece from the dough, make a sausage and roll into a rectangle. Put the filling in the center and pinch the edges at the top. Roll up a snail. Do the same with the rest of the dough and filling. Then grease the bottom of each snail with vegetable oil and place in a double boiler. Boil 30 minutes. Serve with sour cream or butter.

2. Steamed salmon cutlets with spinach

 

We will cook the most delicious and tender salmon cutlets without oil and eggs! A very quick and healthy hot dish can be served even on holidays. Children will be delighted with such cutlets!

For steamed salmon cutlets you will need:

500 g salmon fillet; a piece of white bread; 1 st. l. soy sauce; a handful of spinach; a small bunch of greens (parsley, onion, dill).

Finely chop the fish fillet with a knife, chop the washed greens, crumble a piece of bread and pour soy sauce. Combine all the ingredients, mix well and make balls with large walnuts. 10 minutes in the steamer and you're done! Serve with rice. Enjoy!

3. Steamed fish and vegetable roll

 

A tender steamed fish dish with peas and carrots! Just class! Suitable for both festive and children's menus. To shape the roll, you need a regular cling film.

700 g hake; carrot; 70 g frozen green peas; clove of garlic; egg; 3 art. l. decoys; salt, pepper to taste.

Peel onions and carrots, cut into small cubes. Vegetables can be fried in oil until soft, if you want, or you can add to the mass of the roll in its raw form. Clean the fish and grind in a blender. Then beat in the egg, add spices and salt, semolina, minced or minced garlic, mix. Add cooked vegetables and boiled peas. By the way, if you want to keep the color of the peas, then after pouring it with boiling water, dip it in ice water for a minute, then put it in a colander. Mix everything and put on cling film, wrap in several layers and fasten with a thick thread or sleeve clips. It is better to make two small rolls. 4. Manti with meat and pumpkin

 

Manti with juicy pumpkin and beef filling can be safely served for a festive family dinner. Sprinkle the manti generously with herbs and serve!

Ingredients for manti with original filling:

500 g ground beef; 500 g flour; 300 g pumpkin; 2 eggs; 3 medium onions; 200 ml of water; salt, spices to taste.

Whisk the eggs in a large bowl. Add water, salt, spices and add flour in parts. Knead soft and plastic dough. Then collect it in a ball, cover with a towel and leave for half an hour.

In a bowl, mix minced meat, grated pumpkin pulp, chopped onion. Add salt and spices to taste, stir.

Cut off a piece from the dough, twist it into a sausage and cut into pieces. Roll each piece into a circle. Place a spoonful of filling in the center. Pinch the manti in any way. Now you can freeze the manti or steam it.

Put the manti on the steamer or pressure cooker tray. Steam for 40 minutes. Serve drizzled with melted butter and sprinkled with herbs.

5. Steamed cottage cheese pudding

 

Cottage cheese pudding with berries will be steamed in muffin tins. For dessert, both fresh berries or fruits, as well as frozen or dried, are suitable.

Pudding Ingredients:

1 kg of cottage cheese; 100 g semolina; 150 g of sugar; 3 eggs; 150 g raisins (cranberries, other berries or fruits); a couple of pinches of vanillin; 40 g butter.

Soak raisins in hot water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and put the raisins on a sieve. Separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk the whites to peaks with a mixer, beat the yolks with a whisk with sugar and vanilla. Add cottage cheese to the yolk mass, beat with a blender or mash with a pestle to make mashed potatoes. Pour semolina, raisins, mix well. Enter the whites and mix with a spoon. Put the curd mass in greased forms, cook in a double boiler for 30 minutes.

6. Hedgehogs from meat and steamed rice

 

Quick and delicious hot beef with rice! Serve with vegetables, which you can put in the hedgehog steamer 7 minutes before the end of the cooking program.

600 g ground beef or turkey; egg; a glass of rice; a few sprigs of green onions or other greens; a pinch of ground ginger and black pepper; 2 tbsp. l. soy sauce.

Mix for sauce:

1 st. l. grain mustard; 1 st. l. pesto; 1 st. l. lemon juice; 2 tbsp. l. olive oil.

Rinse the rice, then pour boiling water over it for 3 minutes, drain and lightly dry on a sieve. Mix with minced meat, chopped herbs, spices and soy sauce (or salt), beat in an egg. Make small balls and place on the steamer tray. Boil 25 minutes. Serve with sauce and your favorite side dish.

7. Steamed bulgur balls

 

An original and healthy appetizer or side dish made from trendy bulgur. Grab the recipe!

Ingredients you will need:

1 glass of bulgur; 1 st. l. tomato paste; 100 g hard grated cheese (or tofu); 3 art. l. flour; 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil; salt, pepper to taste; a couple of pinches of rosemary.

Boil the bulgur until half cooked (half the time indicated on the package). Cool, mix with tomato paste, cheese, spices, salt, flour and butter. Blind balls and cook in a double boiler for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Simple, quick and incredibly tender cutlets will cook for a couple in half an hour. You can use minced chicken, turkey or even veal.

Ingredients for cutlets:

700 g chicken or turkey fillet; 2 slices of a loaf; bulb; 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste; salt, spices to taste; milk to soak the bread.

Prepare minced meat from the fillet, you can do this with a blender. Add a loaf soaked in milk. Chop the onion, mix with minced meat. Add tomato, spices, salt. Shape into patties and steam for 25 minutes.
