Cyst

A cyst is a disease that manifests itself in the form of tumors consisting of walls and internal contents. Different foods are allowed and forbidden in each type of cyst.

A cyst is a disease that manifests itself in the form of tumors consisting of walls and internal contents. Such a formation may occur in various tissues and places in the body. Congenital and acquired cysts are observed. The content of the cyst and the structure of its walls differ depending on the manner and place of tumor formation.

Because cysts appear in different parts of the body, there is no general standard diet to recommend. Several types of the disease are indicated and respectively the permitted and prohibited for consumption food products.

In the case of a cyst of the pancreas, the following foods are allowed:

  • high quality flour pasta;
  • unsweetened biscuits;
  • unleavened bread;
  • rusks;
  • fresh boiled or steamed fish;
  • rabbit meat or poultry;
  • lean beef, veal (meat must be minced);
  • soup with added cream;
  • skimmed milk products, fresh milk, fresh cheeses;
  • boiled eggs;
  • rice;
  • buckwheat;
  • barley;
  • oats;
  • semolina;
  • wheat porridge.

Harmful products for cysts:

  • smoked meats, fish and other products;
  • chemically treated vegetables;
  • foods containing additives E 102, E 284, E 123, E 285, E574, E512, E 1200, E999, E127;
  • moldy bread;
  • rotten apples;
  • jam, prepared by boiling water several times;
  • soy sauce;
  • genetically modified nuts;
  • vinegar;
  • canned food;
  • fast food.

Limit consumption to:

  • coffee;
  • margarine and oils of animal origin;
  • fatty meats;
  • liver;
  • alcohol;
  • sugar;
  • salt;
  • bread with yeast.

In renal cysts:

  • moderate consumption of protein products;
  • to exclude from the menu crabs, shrimps, legumes, beef, sea fish (the processing of these products produces a large amount of urea, guanidine, polyamine, creatinine); nutrition in kidney cysts is similar to the diet in kidney disease.

In the case of a cyst of the pancreas are not suitable:

  • all legumes, because the gases that are formed during their consumption can cause pain when pressed by neighboring organs;
  • white cabbage and pears;
  • millet - contains a lot of carbohydrates, which are partially deposited in the form of fat;
  • tomatoes, alcohol, smoking - irritate the mucous membranes, causing complications, tumors, increased secretion of juice.
