General characteristics of the diet:

Given the caloric content and chemical composition, this is a complete diet with a slight increase in protein content. It is recommended that the dishes be ground or pureed, boiled or steamed. Foods that increase putrefaction and fermentation in the intestines, those that stimulate the secretion of the stomach, pancreas, bile secretion and irritate the liver are not allowed. Feeding is 5-6 times a day.

Chemical composition and caloric content of the diet:

Protein - 100-110 g (60-65% animal), fat - 80-90 g (mostly butter), carbohydrates - 350-400 g (50-70 g of sugars), salt - 8-10 g, free liquid - 1.5 liters. Caloric content - 2600-2800 kcal.

Bread and pasta : whole wheat bread (dry or baked the day before) from flour of the 1st quality, dry biscuits and rusks. If tolerated - 1-2 times a week a little well-baked products with cottage cheese, boiled meat, apples. Consumption of whole wheat and rye bread, puff pastry, butter dough is not allowed.

Soups : from low-fat meat or fish broth and vegetable broths, with well-cooked or pureed cereals; noodles, noodles; with finely chopped vegetables (potatoes, carrots, zucchini, cauliflower). The diet does not allow: milk soups and those of legumes.

Meat and poultry : lean meat (or fat removed) - beef, chicken, turkey (cut) - cooked or steamed; birds - without skin; beef, chicken, rabbit - cooked, in pieces. The diet does not allow the consumption of fatty meats, turkey, goose, smoked, sausages, canned food.

Fish : lean (cut into pieces or minced), boiled or steamed.

Dairy products : milk, cream (sour cream only as an additive in dishes), sour milk drinks, fresh cottage cheese, light cheese. Prohibited: natural milk, dairy products with high acidity, salty and heavy cheeses.

Eggs : up to 1-2 a day - soft-boiled, steamed omelets, protein omelets, in the dishes. Prohibited: hard-boiled and fried eggs.

Cereals : various well-cooked porridges (except wheat and barley), prepared with water and 1/3 milk, porridge of crushed oats or buckwheat, steamed puddings of crushed porridge, milk with rice, semolina, cooked pasta. Not allowed the use of: porridge barley and millet, legumes.

Vegetables : potatoes, carrots, cauliflower (cooked and crushed); boiled early zucchini and squash; steamed vegetable souffle; ripe fresh tomatoes up to 50-100 grams per day. Not allowed: white cabbage, beets, radishes, onions, garlic, cucumbers, turnips, sorrel, spinach, mushrooms.

Appetizers : jelly fish, light cheeses, caviar.

Fruits, confectionery and confectionery : ripe, sweet fruits (and berries) - without skin, raw with tolerance, up to 100 grams per day; grated apples, baked apples and pears; sour and pureed fruit drinks; marmalade, jam, candies, jellies. The diet does not include: grapes, apricots, plums, dried fruits, ice cream, chocolate, cakes.

Sauces and condiments : sauces of weak meat, vegetable and fruit broths, milk béchamel; spices - dill, parsley, bay leaf, vanilla, cinnamon. Prohibited: spicy and greasy sauces, mustard, horseradish, pepper.

Drinks : tea, coffee, cocoa (with water or milk), decoction of rose hips and wheat bran; apple, cherry, tangerine, orange and strawberry juices mixed with hot water. Unsuitable for the diet are: grape, plum and apricot juices, yeast.

Fat : if tolerable - butter spread on bread or added to dishes (from 5 to 15 grams per intake). Any other fats are prohibited.

Approximately the menu for diet number 4B:

1st breakfast: steamed omelet, semolina porridge with milk, tea.

2nd breakfast: baked apples.

Lunch: broth with beaten egg, steamed meatballs with carrot puree.

Afternoon snack: rosehip decoction.

Dinner: boiled fish with mashed potatoes, rice pudding with fruit filling, tea.
