First of all, potatoes will help out - boiled, fried, baked, it is always a tasty and welcome guest on any table. We offer a couple of options for a budget potato dinner.

Ingredients:

large potatoes - 5 pcs., onions - 1 pc., wheat flour - 1 tbsp. l., salt, black pepper - to taste, vegetable oil - 4-5 tbsp. l. (for frying).

 

Peel and wash potatoes and onions. Grate the vegetables on a coarse grater, squeeze out excess moisture with your hands and drain. Salt and pepper to taste. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and spread the potato pancakes with a tablespoon.

 

Fry on both sides until golden brown. Place the finished pancakes on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve warm!

Baked boiled potatoes

 

Ingredients:

large potatoes - 4-5 pcs., flour - 2 tbsp. l., vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l., salt - to taste, spices - to taste.

Peel potatoes and cut into slices. Rinse the slices, put in a saucepan and fill with clean water. Boil 5 minutes after boiling. Then drain the water and let the potatoes cool a little. Mix flour with salt and spices that you prefer. Instead of spices, you can take chopped garlic.

 

Dry the cooled slices with a paper towel and roll in the flour mixture.

Cover the form with parchment and grease with oil. Carefully lay out the slices on the paper in rows. Drizzle a little oil on top and bake until golden brown at 200 degrees. Turn over once or twice during baking. Ruddy and crispy slices are ready.

Ingredients:

Peel the onion, wash and cut into small cubes. Fry in a pan in vegetable oil until golden brown. Then add the diced tomato and minced garlic. Stir and fry for 2-3 minutes.

Pour dry pasta and pour 0.5-0.7 cups of boiling water. Salt to taste, add spices if desired. After boiling, reduce the heat and cover with a lid, simmer the pasta until the liquid boils away. Then add another 0.5 cups of boiling water and simmer until the pasta is ready. At the end of cooking, add chopped herbs and mix. Ready!

Lentils with carrots and onions

 

Ingredients:

red lentils - 1 tbsp., small carrots - 1 pc., small onion - 1 pc., garlic - 2 teeth, water - 1 l, herbs - to taste, vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l., bay leaf - 1 pc., salt - to taste.

 

Rinse the lentils several times. Peel and wash vegetables. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, chop the onion finely. Mix with lentils. Put everything in a saucepan, add bay leaf, cover with water and salt to taste. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes after boiling. Then drain the water, season the lentils with oil and chopped herbs and garlic. Stir and leave covered for 7-10 minutes so that the lentils are saturated with the aromas of herbs and garlic. Ready!
