Some dishes have long since migrated from the cuisines of neighboring countries to our menu, have become loved and loved. We can’t imagine a picnic in nature without a barbecue, manti is always asking for a double boiler, and every housewife has her own recipe for the most delicious borscht.

We offer new options for serving your favorite dishes borrowed from neighbors. We will prepare a burger from potato pancakes, serve borscht in bread, decorate manti in the form of roses, and bake barbecue rolls.

Draniki

Classic potato pancakes are made from potatoes, flour and eggs. They can be served with a sauce of cottage cheese, garlic and herbs, lightly salted salmon, sour cream. Potatoes for potato pancakes are rubbed on a fine or coarse grater, chopped onions can be added to the dough for juiciness.

Bulba burger

Potato pancakes can be used instead of a burger bun! Such a hearty sandwich can be served for lunch. See how to make a Bulba Burger.

To make two potato burgers you will need:

potatoes - 5 pcs. (for pancakes) egg - 1 pc. (for potato pancakes) starch - 2 tbsp. (for draniki) vegetable oil - for frying (for draniki) minced meat - 300 g onion - 2 pcs. lettuce leaves - 4 pcs. tomato - 1 pc. cucumber - 1/2 pc. favorite sauce (preferably cheese) - 3 tbsp. cheese - 8 slices

For potato pancakes, peel and grate 5 potatoes, add two tablespoons of starch, an egg, a little salt and mix. Or use the recipe above. Fry burger pancakes using the metal serving ring. Heat up a frying pan with oil and put the dough into a ring.

When the potato pancake is fried on one side (within a minute), remove the ring and turn it over with a spatula to the other side.

Cook until done (another minute). Dranik will turn out golden-ruddy. Put the finished pancake on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.

Mix minced meat with spices to taste and fry two cutlets with a serving ring.

Put the ring in a hot frying pan with oil, lay out and distribute the minced meat in it, fry on one side, then remove the ring and fry until cooked on the other side.

Cut the onion, cucumber and tomato into thin rings and assemble the burger.

Grease the potato pancake with sauce, put a lettuce leaf, a tomato, a plate of cheese, a cutlet, onion rings, a cucumber, cheese again, a lettuce leaf and a potato pancake smeared with sauce (sauce down!). Done, enjoy!

Borsch

Cooking thick Ukrainian borsch on beef ribs with beans, vegetables, herbs. Serve in bread with sour cream. Rich and satisfying borsch with lean meat and plenty of vegetables is a wonderful dish for a family or a large company. In addition, on the second day, borscht only gets tastier, so immediately boil a huge pot of soup!

Manti, beloved by many, can be arranged in the form of roses. Of course, the dish will lose some of its juiciness, but it will look amazingly festive! Serve manty roses with sour cream and herbs. Great dish for a family dinner!
