Easter shortbread lamb

It is very good to make cookies in the shape of an Easter lamb from shortcrust pastry  .

Ingredients

  • Flour - 3 tbsp.

  • Sugar - 1/3 tbsp.

  • Vanillin.

  • Soda is on the tip of a knife.

  • Egg - 2 pcs.

  • Butter - 300 g.

  • Raisins

Cooking technology

Mix all the dry ingredients together. Rub the resulting mixture with eggs and butter. Knead a smooth dough, wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge for half an hour.

To make cookies, you will need a form for cutting in the form of an Easter lamb . To make it, draw an arbitrary lamb on a piece of paper and cut it out. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm. Using the form, cut lambs from it. Put the dough on a baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar, make eyes for each lamb from raisins . Bake cookies in the shape of an Easter lamb until golden in an oven heated to 200 degrees.

 

Easter lamb cupcake

If you don't want cookies, try baking a soft and voluminous cupcake. Although in this case, a special form in the form of an Easter lamb should be found in the store.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 70 g.

  • Egg - 2 pcs.

  • Sugar - 100 g.

  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp.

  • Flour

  • Baking powder - 2 tsp.

  • Raisins

  • Vanilla sugar — 1 bag or vanilla extract — 1 tsp.

Cooking technology

First beat sugar and butter, add eggs, sour cream and vanilla alternately. Gradually introduce the flour sifted together with the baking powder into the dough. To begin with, take 100 g of flour, and then add as needed to achieve the consistency of thick sour cream. Finally, add raisins and candied fruit, pre-steamed and rolled in flour.

Grease the form for baking Easter lamb with butter and fill it with dough. If there is no form, you can try to pour the dough into a pastry bag and give it the outline of a lamb . Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Check the readiness of the baking with a skewer. Cool the finished Easter lamb  and decorate with glaze or chocolate.

Ingredients

  • Egg yolk - 3 pcs.

  • Egg white - 2 pcs.

  • Sugar - 125 g.

  • Carrot - 100 g.

  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.

  • Lemon peel - 1 tsp.

  • Flour - 100 g.

  • Ground almonds - 125 g.

  • Broken pumpkin seeds - 50 g.

  • A pinch of salt.

  • Baking powder - 2 tsp.

  • White glaze - 50 g.

Cooking technology

Grate the carrot on a fine grater. Beat the yolks with sugar, add lemon juice and zest to them. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and almonds. Enter the beaten egg yolks here. Beat the whites with salt, then add them to the dough along with carrots and pumpkin seeds.

Lubricate the form for baking lamb with oil, sprinkle with flour, after which you can lay out the dough. Bake the Easter lamb for 40 minutes at a temperature of 175 degrees. Leave the finished pastry in the form for a while, then take it out and cool completely. Decorate the lamb with glaze. Make eyes for the Easter lamb from raisins or pumpkin seeds, or other favorite berries or nuts.
