Fasting is a topic that provokes opposing opinions and reactions. This article is purely informative about the nature and course of starvation treatment. Do not take this without consulting a specialist! It should be used under medical supervision, taking into account the specifics of the particular organism and any existing diseases!

The famous American doctor Paul Bragg is of the opinion that "Fasting helps the body to help itself." He also believes that "people get sick because they violate the natural principles of life, and by using curative starvation, they can forget their age."

What happens in the body when we starve?

When food does not enter our body, the energy it expends to absorb it goes to the release of harmful substances.

There are three types of fasting:

Option 1

Insufficient (even minimal) amount of food or intake of homogeneous products, or those of extremely low quality, which do not contain the necessary nutrients (vitamins, trace elements, etc.).

Option 2

Absolute transition to an endogenous diet in the body. Mammals are in a state of hibernation, and in lower beings the life processes are interrupted or slowed down. In this type of starvation, the same recovery processes are observed in mammals as in humans, but to a lesser extent. In nature, this way preserves existing species.

Option 3

This is a complete deprivation of food for up to 40 days, during which the motor and water regime is observed. Such starvation has a prophylactic and curative focus. Its range of action is very wide, it is an amazing way to eat with our own supplies. In addition, during such treatment increases the excretion of toxic and harmful substances from the body.

Therapeutic fasting as prevention

Water is the main thing that is taken by the body during this period. It helps get rid of toxins. The purest is distilled (can be replaced with boiled).

As a result of polluted air and water, improper nutrition, undigested and unallocated substances in the body, the intake of various drugs and medications and other factors, a person accumulates toxins that are released from the body during fasting. It can last several hours (24-36), 3 days, 7-10 days. A monthly 24-hour fast has a very good cleansing effect. After a few months of adhering to such a regime, a person is ready for 3-4 days of fasting. After 4 months - for 7 days of starvation. During this period, many toxins are excreted from the body. A few more months and you're ready for a 10-day cleansing fast. Only a specialist could prescribe longer food deprivations. Then various tests are done and the hunger is stopped if necessary. During such a regime, no matter how long it is, non-strenuous walks are recommended, and when a person feels tired, he should rest immediately. Positive attitudes and abstraction from negative emotions are important.

Starvation treatment is also applied after preliminary purification of the body with the help of laxative teas (flaxseed, thunderbolt roots, dandelion roots, chamomile, etc.), sweetened with no more than 2 teaspoons of honey (daily). Lemon juice can also be added.
