Foods To Maintain Healthy Kidneys

Maintaining a healthy kidney can be done through more frequent consumption of foods such as blueberries, cauliflower and others.

Diet is closely linked to kidney health, as a lack of certain nutrients can cause kidney disease . To maintain a healthy kidney, it is recommended that you eat the following foods more often…

  • Blueberries

Blueberries are a source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants , most commonly anthocyanins, which prevent a number of diseases, including kidney problems. These fruits contain phosphorus, potassium and sodium, which keep the kidneys healthy.

  • Cauliflower

Cauliflower has vitamins K, C, B, minerals and dietary fiber that support kidney function. They also have anti-inflammatory properties that prevent diseases of the organs.

  • Cabbage

Cabbage is a good source of insoluble fiber, nutrients and minerals that make cabbage an ideal food for kidney health. It removes toxins from the bloodstream through the process of excretion.

  • Garlic

Garlic is an anti-inflammatory food low in potassium, sodium and phosphorus. It can help increase kidney function by eliminating toxins.

  • Grapes

This delicious fruit contains antioxidants, vitamins and flavonoids that protect the body from harmful free radicals that can adversely affect kidney function. Grapes are poor in potassium, phosphorus and sodium, which is important for having healthy kidneys.

  • Pineapple

Pineapple is a tropical fruit with low potassium content, unlike other fruits of this variety such as bananas and kiwis. They should be limited by people with kidney problems.

However, pineapple is an alternative because it contains fiber, vitamin B, manganese and bromelain - an enzyme that reduces inflammation. A diet rich in pineapple is suitable for maintaining healthy kidneys.

Other foods that have a positive effect on the kidneys are: radishes, arugula, onions, carrots and buckwheat. The foods on the list are recommended to be consumed regularly so that we do not have kidney problems. They are extremely important organs because they regulate blood pressure, release harmful elements and toxins, maintain water levels in the body, regulate acidity and stimulate red blood cells .
