To enjoy a long life and good health, we should consume a few nuts every day.
According to a new study, daily consumption of a handful of nuts , which is about 20 g, helps reduce the risk of developing a number of diseases - from cancer to cardiovascular disorders.
Consumption of peanuts and nuts, such as hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and walnuts, every day can reduce the risk of developing coronary heart disease by nearly 30%, the risk of cancer is 15% lower and the risk of premature lethality was reduced by 22%.
Researchers have also linked the consumption of nuts to a reduced risk of death from respiratory disease and diabetes , but there is currently less data on this relationship. Further studies are needed.
For the purposes of this study, the researchers analyzed data from 29 others conducted around the world. They include a total of 819,000 participants, including thousands of people suffering from coronary heart disease, stroke , cardiovascular disease and cancer.
The researchers explain that much of the research focuses on serious health threats, including cardiovascular disease, stroke and cancer, but other diseases are currently being considered.
There is a constant reduction in the risk of developing various diseases, which is a strong indication that there is a real link between the consumption of nuts and health.
Experts point out that daily consumption of more than 20 g of nuts does not lead to greater health benefits.
