At home, you can easily and quickly prepare such delicious snacks that your hand will never again reach for a pack of crackers or chips in the store. Garlic croutons are a great option for gatherings with family and friends.
You can cook them both in a pan and in the oven.
Ingredients:
Baton - 3-4 slices; Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l.; Salt and dried garlic - to taste.
Carefully cut the banana into small pieces. Place on a skillet or baking sheet. Pour a little vegetable oil and dry, stirring occasionally. When the croutons are reddened, add salt and garlic, mix and remove from heat after a minute.
If you like rye bread, be sure to make croutons out of it. They are more intense and spicy.
You will need:
Rye bread - 3 slices; Vegetable oil - 10 g; Garlic - 2-3 teeth; Salt and pepper - to taste.
Cut the bread into long strips. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and put chopped garlic in it. After a minute, when the garlic begins to exude aroma, add slices of bread. Toast the croutons over medium heat until crispy. Finally add salt to taste and a pinch of pepper if desired.
Unsweetened french-style croutons.
Ingredients:
Baguette or loaf - 1/2 pc.; Egg - 2 pcs.; Milk - 1/2 cup; Greens, salt and garlic - to taste; Vegetable oil - for frying.
In a deep bowl, beat the eggs and beat with milk until smooth. Add salt, spices and chopped herbs there. Cut the bread into slices. Gently dip each piece on all sides in the egg-milk mixture and place in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Fry the croutons over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Meanwhile, peel and mince the garlic. Remove the croutons from the heat, rub garlic on all sides and serve.
If you want to cook not only tasty and fragrant, but also not greasy croutons, then use this recipe.

Cut the bread into small squares and place in a dry frying pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes. At the same time, peel and mince the garlic. Put the finished croutons in a deep bowl, sprinkle them with salt and garlic. Leave for 5-7 minutes until completely cool. Stir every couple of minutes so that the taste and aroma of garlic is evenly distributed.
Pour a glass of beer or kvass and enjoy spicy croutons in good company!
