In this article, learn more about Green Walnuts. Green walnuts - composition, useful properties and contraindications.

Green walnuts have been recommended for consumption since the time of Avicenna. They have irreplaceable healing properties, are useful for cells, brain, heart, immunity and human health in general.

The benefit

Walnut nuts contain phosphorus, copper, cobalt, fluorine, iron, zinc and others. These elements do not exhaust the list of substances important for the body.

Green fruit is an excellent antioxidant, which means that it protects against cancer cells, premature aging and loss of strength.

There are about 20 amino acids in the product. Without such, the body is unable to work actively and provide cells with nutrients.

The vitamins in the composition are also not small. They are mainly represented by B, PP, C, P, and it is interesting that the amount of vitamin C in walnuts is even greater than in blackcurrants.

Consumption of nuts improves vision, brain activity, immunity, lowers blood cholesterol, strengthens blood vessels, nervous system, normalizes the size of the thyroid gland.

Walnuts are also important for beauty: they strengthen hair follicles, nails become healthier and grow faster, the skin is smoothed, acne disappears.

Harm and contraindications

Excessive consumption of green walnuts is unacceptable, as this will lead to the opposite effect: overdose of micro- and macronutrients, hypervitaminosis.

The product can in no way be referred to as dietary, it is high in saturated fat. Excessive intake of green walnuts, although they do not contain sugars, can lead to weight gain, rashes in the oral cavity, swelling of the palatine tonsils (tonsils).

People prone to allergies should be extremely careful when consuming unripe fruits, because in acute allergies they could lead to anaphylactic shock.

Sufferers of skin problems (psoriasis, eczema) should not eat walnuts, as their condition may worsen.

Gastroenterologists and nutritionists do not recommend the consumption of large amounts of the product by people with gastrointestinal diseases, especially in the presence of colitis and gastric ulcers.

Walnuts are ecologically clean food that cannot contain GMOs, additives and other dangerous ingredients. But if they contain moss, mold or are damaged, a person can ingest toxins that are released from spoiled nuts.

As the product is high in calories (about 650 kcal per 100 grams), it should not be overdone. In case you do not gain extra pounds, eating 2-4 walnuts a day are enough to maintain health and provide the necessary dose of nutrients for the body.

Nutritional value

Walnuts are not rich in carbohydrates, but on the other hand they are superior even to seafood in terms of polyunsaturated acids. They are extremely useful and improve the work of the brain and nervous system.
