Silent hunting is an exciting activity. All mushrooms collected in the forest must be cleaned of dirt, forest debris, earth, and insects before work. Mushrooms are usually much cleaner than other mushrooms, as they often grow on stumps, tree trunks, deadwood and are not very dirty.
But there are small mushrooms that grow on the ground, and they are dirtier than those that grow on stumps. If you have collected a lot of very young mushrooms, then often they are simply soaked for 10 minutes in slightly salty water, and then washed in several waters. This will be enough.
If the mushrooms are a little older, then they should be cleaned more thoroughly. Remember that before cooking or frying, peeled mushrooms are washed in water, and before drying they are not washed, but only wiped with a damp cloth.
Recipes with fresh mushroom ingredient
Step 1
For work, we need mushrooms, a sponge, a knife, a colander.
Step 2
If the mushrooms are not too dirty, then you can simply wipe them with a clean kitchen sponge, wiping small forest debris from the hat and legs.
Step 3
All mushrooms should cut off the bottom of the legs with dirt. If the mushrooms are already a little old, then the leg is cut off by 2/3 of its height.
Step 4
Cut off the damaged areas, if any, on the hat and stem.
Step 5
If you wish, you can remove the rim under the hat, but this is not at all necessary, and the taste of the mushrooms will not change from this.
Step 6
Rinse the mushrooms under running water (if you are going to dry the mushrooms, then this item should be skipped in the work).
Step 7
Honey mushrooms are ready to work. Now they can be safely boiled, fried or marinated.
