How To Cook Appetizing Chicken Legs With Honey, Lemon And Ginger - Recipe

Required products :

  • 5 chicken legs, only the upper part
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • the juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove of garlic, pressed
  • 1 piece of ginger / about 2.5 centimeters /, finely grated
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For garnish :

  • lemon slices
  • green onions, finely chopped

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and position the grill in the middle.
  • In a bowl, mix the honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic and ginger. Stir well.
  • Place the chicken legs in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sauce and rub it with your palms to taste them evenly.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Distribute the legs in it and bake them for 4-5 minutes.
  • Turn them carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Transfer them to a pan without adding the fat from the pan.
  • Spread the garlic cloves around the chicken legs and sprinkle with the remaining honey sauce.
  • Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve the legs warm, garnished with lemon slices and finely chopped green onions.
