How To Cook Apple Cake With Cinnamon And Butter Crumbs - Recipe

Required products :

For swamps :

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 tea cup yogurt
  • 2 tea cups apples, peeled and cut into cubes

For butter crumbs :

  • 1/3 tea cup sugar
  • 1/3 tea cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 tea cups flour

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a 23 cm round baking dish.
  • Prepare the butter crumbs by mixing the sugar, cinnamon, salt and melted butter in a large bowl. Stir.
  • Add the flour and stir briefly. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar with a mixer until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Add the yogurt and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  • Add the dry mixture and stir briefly.
  • Finally add the apples and stir again.
  • Pour the dough into the prepared form and crush the butter mixture on top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.
  • Allow the apple cake to cool completely before slicing and serving.
