How To Cook Apple Cake With Hazelnuts And Blueberries - Recipe

Required products :

  • 200 grams of unsalted butter, softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 150 grams of hazelnuts, cut in bulk
  • 150 grams of buckwheat flour
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 30 grams of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar
  • cranberry jam / or other choice /
  • grated lemon peel
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and grease with butter a round baking dish with a diameter of about 24 centimeters.
  • Separate the yolks from the whites.
  • Beat the butter with 1/2 of the sugar until creamy.
  • Add the yolks one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Add the buckwheat flour, grated apple, baking powder, cornstarch, remaining sugar, chopped hazelnuts and grated lemon peel. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula with rotating movements from the bottom to the surface.
  • Beat the egg whites in the snow and gradually add them to the main mixture. Stir briefly.
  • Pour the dough into the prepared form and bake the marshmallows for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.
  • Allow it to cool completely in the mold before turning it over on a plate or tray of suitable size.
  • Cut the marshmallows in half and spread the first one with blueberry jam.
  • Place the second loaf on top, sprinkle with powdered sugar and spread with blueberry jam again.
  • Cut the apple cake and serve.
