How To Cook Apple Cake With Walnuts, Butter And Cinnamon - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2/3 tea cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 tea cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped apples
  • walnuts for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and cover a 20-cm square pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and egg. Stir well.
  • Add the flour and baking powder and mix again.
  • Add the walnuts and apples and stir to distribute evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and level its surface with the back of a spoon.
  • Sprinkle with walnuts and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.
  • Allow the apple pie to cool completely, cut into 16 squares and serve with a smile.
