How To Cook Arranged Casserole With Mashed Potatoes And Sausage - Recipe

Required products :

  • 6 potatoes - peeled and sliced
  • 5 small raw sausages
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green hot pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 200 grams of mozzarella
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 50 grams of parmesan
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley and green onions
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation :

Boil the potatoes together with the sausages until the vegetables are fully cooked.

Finely chop the remaining vegetables.

Cut the cooked sausage into small cubes and set aside until needed again.

Strain the potatoes and mash them with a potato press, add half of the chopped onion, butter and milk. Stir again - this time with a spatula to get a puree. Season with salt and pepper.

Fry the remaining onion and green pepper and fry until the onion is soft.

Add the chopped sausage and tomatoes. Add salt and cook until the tomatoes soften and turn into a sauce. Sprinkle with a little parsley and green onions. Remove from the heat.

Put half of the mashed potatoes in the casserole, pour the tomato sauce with sausage, grate the mozzarella on top. Cover with the remaining puree, flatten and grate the parmesan. Sprinkle with the remaining parsley and bake at 200 degrees for 35 minutes until the parmesan is golden and browned.
