How To Cook Arranged Sweet Potatoes With Harissa Paste - Recipe

We offer you another idea for sweet potatoes, which in recent years have become increasingly popular and are often on our table. This time in a lean version, flavored with olive oil and harissa paste.

Required products :

  • 2/3 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2/3 tea cup + 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1.5 kilograms of sweet potatoes, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons pistachios
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Mix 2/3 tea cup of olive oil with the same amount of harissa paste, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and stir.

Cut the sweet potatoes into thin slices.

Arrange them face to face in a tray. Spread the mixture of olive oil and harissa paste and bake for 1 hour, re-spreading the potatoes every 10-15 minutes.

Meanwhile, pistachios and mix it with sesame seeds and fennel seeds. Put in a pan and bake for 4 minutes. Grind in a blender or pound in a mortar.

Stir the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil and harissa paste together with one tablespoon of vinegar.

Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and pour over the extra sauce and sprinkle with the nuts.
