Butter beans with tomatoes, onions and garlic, served with tender lamb fillet and shredded feta cheese.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of lamb fillet
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cloves, crushed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • small bunch of dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 500 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 2 cans oiled beans, drained
  • 2 tablespoons feta cheese, crushed

Method of preparation :

Spread the lamb with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, a clove of garlic and cloves. Season to taste and set aside to marinate (about 2 hours or less).

Heat the remaining olive oil and fry the onion and garlic in it. Season to taste and cook for 8 minutes or until soft. Pour the tomato puree, dill, vinegar, chicken broth and beans, season and simmer for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated.

Roast the lamb fillet in a hot pan. Allow the meat to rest by covering it with foil for 5 minutes, then cut it into pieces.

Serve the beans with the pieces of lamb, sprinkle with crushed feta cheese and dill.
