0.5 kg of carrots

1-2 cups of oil

2 cloves garlic

spices: saffron, paprika, chili, coriander, cumin, salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

Cut the onion into semicircles, roll it in flour and fry in hot oil.

Wash the meat, clean it from the veins and fat layers, cut it into large pieces and season each of them with salt and pepper. Then fry the meat on both sides in the oil in which the onions were fried until a golden crust is formed. Add the prepared onion and diced carrots. Pour water 1 cm over the products, put the spices and leave on high heat for about 10-15 minutes. Wash the rice, add it to the meat, add the crushed garlic. Add more water (1.5 cm above the rice). Close the pan with a lid and leave on high heat for 20 minutes. During this time, the water should boil. Gather the rice so that it forms a pile and cover it with a deep plate. Cover the remaining products again with the lid and leave on low heat for another 30 minutes. Then remove the plate from the rice and mix it with the meat. The pilaf is ready.
