Learn how to cook "Breaded mozzarella sticks with dill and green onions". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 250 grams of mozzarella (you can replace it with soft yellow cheese or other soft cheese that melts well)
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 grams of sour cream
  • 1 chili pepper if desired
  • green onions, dill and parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixture of different types of ground pepper
  • 100 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams of flour
  • oil
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Grate the mozzarella finely and pour into a convenient bowl.

Chop the dill and green onions, add them to the cheese.

Add the mixture of different types of ground pepper, chopped chili pepper if you want the sticks to be spicy, and sour cream.

Mix the ingredients well, the combination should be homogeneous. Pour it on a sheet of plastic wrap and spread to obtain an even rectangular layer.

Carefully wrap it in stretch and store in the freezer for 40 minutes.

When you remove the blank, remove the coating and cut the tight mixture into long pieces about 4-5 centimeters thick. Then cut them in half widthwise.

Beat the two eggs in a bowl, in the other two bowls put the breadcrumbs and flour.

Dip the sticks first in the flour, then in the eggs, breadcrumbs, again egg, breadcrumbs (this will give a double breading, but you must act quickly so as not to run the first layer of cheese).

Fry them in hot oil, it should cover them completely. For 2-3 minutes, the sticks will be covered with a golden crust, then remove them on paper to drain the fat.

You can serve the appetizer with different sauces, as well as sprinkle with green spices.

Have a good time!
