Required products :

1 whole chicken weighing about 2.8-3 pounds
3-6 bay leaves
3 teaspoons salt
6 grains black pepper
6 grains allspice
1/2 teaspoon boiling water (if necessary)

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the chicken thoroughly.

 

Cut it into pieces and add salt.

 

 

Put in a suitable bowl, add the bay leaves, allspice seeds and black pepper and let it simmer in its own sauce over low heat for 1.5 hours. If necessary, pour a little water.

 

 

Then distribute the meat in pre-sterilized jars, which fill tightly, leaving about 1 cm of free space under the neck of the dish.

 

Top up with the fat that was released during cooking.

 

Arrange the jars in a pot of warm water, at the bottom of which you put a piece of cloth, towel or other cloth.

Boil the half-liter for 25 minutes or 35 minutes if using a capacity of 1 liter. Put lids on, but do not close them.

 

Close immediately.
