How To Cook Chicken Meat And Caramelized Onion Sandwich - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Sandwich with chicken and caramelized onion meatballs". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 4 slices of bread (rye)
  • 4 slices of cheddar
  • 4 slices mozzarella (ripe)
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 grams of chicken, shaped into 2 meatballs the size of slices of bread
  • 1 large onion, cut into crescents
  • 1/2 teaspoon water

Method of preparation :

Put 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and fry the two slices of bread in it until golden. Transfer them to a cutting board with the cooked side up.

Place the cheddar on both slices, leaving a gap at the edges.

In the same way, fry the next two slices and put the mozzarella in them.

Season the meatballs on both sides with salt and pepper.

Put 1 tablespoon of butter in the pan and fry them until done. Transfer to a plate.

Put another 1 tablespoon of butter, onion and 2 tablespoons of water in the pan. Season with salt and pepper and cook until onions are browned. If necessary, add a little more water to get a dark caramel and creamy onion.

Spread the onions on the slices and place the meatballs on two of them. Close the sandwiches.

Heat the last spoonful of butter in the pan and fry the sandwiches on the outside to melt the cheese. Serve as soon as possible.
