How To Cook Chicken With Brown Rice, Cashews And Vegetables - Recipe

This recipe requires many and varied ingredients, but the preparation is definitely worth it. The aroma and taste of chicken, combined with vegetables and spices, is incomparable. The products are for 2 servings , and the preparation will take you about 25 minutes .

 

Necessary products

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/4  cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/4  cup celery, finely chopped
  • 250 grams of boneless chicken breasts cut into pieces
  • 1/4  tea cup of orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4  teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cashews
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2/3  tea cup cooked brown rice

 

Method of preparation

Put 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a large pan and heat it to a high temperature. Add the carrots and celery and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add another 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

Add the chicken to the pan and fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

Mix the orange juice and cornstarch in a small bowl. Add to them soy sauce, honey, ginger. Stir well and pour the mixture into the pan.

Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce thickens. Finally add the cashews and green onions, cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve the prepared dish together with the cooked brown rice. Enjoy your meal!
